About anton
A tribute to our roots and to nature, that's what Anton in Natz is all about. Using lots of wood and stone, this sanctuary was created for our guests, not far from our ancestral home, Hotel Ploseblick - the birthplace of both hosts, Thomas with family and Otmar. Architecturally true to nature, for the outside face bears the signature from Arch. Andreas Gruber and from the interior design Arch. Bea Mitterhofer.
"The focus at Anton Nature Hideaway is to architecturally convey this special place to the guests. South Tyrolean construction style reinterpreted. In reference to a traditional South Tyrolean farmstead, the building volume was structured into two units, and all living spaces were oriented towards the south on two floors.
The architectural style of the building is rooted in the region. The attention to detail and the ornamentally designed balcony railings and facades make the guesthouse something special. Large windows frame the beautiful Eisacktal landscape and allow daylight to flood into the interior spaces." Arch. Andreas Gruber
"Our parents were already hosts in our ancestral home, the Hotel Ploseblick in Naz. Now, we brothers, Thomas with family and Otmar, are your hosts. With a collaboration between the two appartment-houses ANTON in Naz and ANTON in Brunico, we are writing a new Michaeler story."
